Ground turkey is very popular today not only because it is healthy but because it tastes great! Here is a turkey burger recipe I developed that is, if I may say so myself, fabulous! Although intended for the grill, they may be fried as well.
Ingredients:
1.25 lb. ground turkey1 egg, beaten
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
2 tbsp. finely chopped jalapeno pepper (with most of seeds and membrane removed)
2 tbsp. finely chopped green onion
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp. McCormick® Grill Mates® Roasted Garlic Montreal Chicken® seasoning
1 tsp. ground black pepper
Instructions:
Blend well, by hand, the meat, garlic, peppers, and onion in a mixing bowl and form into seven patties. Coat grill with a little oil or PAM® spray. Grill burgers, pouring the sauces and seasonings, and sprinkling the seasonings on each side of burgers while grilling. Serve on french rolls or hamburger buns and gobble, gobble!
